About Us
Making pay transparency simple
We're building the tools European companies need to comply with the EU Pay Transparency Directive — and close the gender pay gap for good.
Our Mission
The EU Pay Transparency Directive (2023/970) comes into force on June 7, 2026. It requires companies with 100+ employees to report on gender pay gaps, disclose salary ranges in job postings, and take corrective action when gaps exceed 5%.
For many companies, especially SMEs, this represents a significant compliance challenge. PayProof was created to make compliance straightforward, affordable, and actionable.
What We Believe
Equal pay is a right
The gender pay gap persists at ~13% across the EU. Transparency is the first step to closing it.
Compliance shouldn't be hard
SMEs don't have armies of consultants. Good software can level the playing field.
Data privacy matters
Compensation data is sensitive. We encrypt it at rest, isolate it per company, and give you full GDPR tools.
Based in Belgium
PayProof is built in Belgium, at the heart of the European Union. We understand the regulatory landscape because we live in it. Our team combines expertise in HR technology, employment law, and enterprise SaaS.
